The Music Ministry is a group of liturgical musicians who are responsible to provide leadership and music for the assembly to sing to enhance communal prayer. We have three music groups: The 8am Mass traditional choir, the 10am Mass contemporary choir with guitar and flute and the Saturday 5pm Mass small group. There are no tryouts, you just need a strong desire to praise the Lord in song and to be able to carry a tune and blend with a group.

The Proclaimers are messengers of our salvation
history. The proclaimer brings to life the very meaning contained in each written word as it is spoken in the midst of the assembly. In and through the proclaimers, God speaks to the people.

The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion concern themselves with the profound responsibility of bearing witness to the mystery we celebrate in the Eucharist. They share in the work of the Lord who makes us one bread and one body.

The Ministers to the Sick and Homebound bring Eucharist and comfort to the members of the parish community who are confined to home, hospital or nursing home and cannot participate in the communal celebration. This ministry is an extension of the parish Eucharist. The minister uses a liturgical format of readings and prayers and are assigned to weekly visits.

Art & Environment ministers create a spiritual environment to reflect the liturgical seasons. The ministers provide visual and sensory symbols that support the liturgical actions. They also enhance the sacred space to provoke thought, encourage faith and inspire prayer in a worshipful atmosphere.

The Altar Server is a boy or girl from fifth grade to high school who assists the priest and deacon during Sunday Mass. The server helps the liturgical actions run smoothly and makes the Mass as prayerful as possible. It is a great honor and privilege to be able to come and serve God in this ministry and is to be taken seriously.

The Ushers are ministers of hospitality and a ministry with a function of highest priority – that of welcoming. Ministers of Hospitality create an atmosphere of worship – the act where we are most genuinely one. The skill required here is one that makes people feel that you are glad they came and that their presence is important to what is about to take place.
